BEDTIME / TONIGHT'S STORY
Little Black’s Earth Adventure

Once upon a time, there lived a little bear on Mars named Little Black. He had bright, shiny eyes and loved looking up at the stars.
One night, as he gazed at the distant Earth, Little Black had a wonderful idea. If humans could travel to the Moon, why couldn’t a Mars bear visit Earth?
The idea made him too excited to sleep. Early the next morning, he went to the rocket base and found a scientist named Ming.
“Ming, I want to go on an adventure to Earth!” Little Black said seriously.
Ming smiled and shook his head. “A bear going to Earth? That’s much too dangerous! The air, food, and environment there are very different from Mars.”
Little Black felt sad. He thought Ming didn’t really understand him, and didn’t believe that a little bear could have big dreams.
That night, Little Black quietly slipped into a rocket that was preparing to fly to Earth, and hid in the cargo hold.
“Ten, nine, eight… launch!”
The rocket roared into the sky. Little Black held on tightly, his heart beating fast. When the rocket left Mars’ atmosphere, the universe outside turned dark, and countless stars began to shine.
At first, Little Black was very excited. But slowly, he felt scared and lonely. There was no family, no friends, and he didn’t really know what Earth would be like. He began to regret whether he had been too reckless.
Just then, a blue planet appeared outside the window—Earth.
The rocket landed gently, and Little Black finally stepped onto Earth. However, the landing was so strong that everything went black, and he fainted.
When he woke up, he found himself in a bright room. Several scientists stood around him, watching him gently and taking care of him.
“This is a bear from Mars!” one scientist said with surprise.

Little Black was not hurt. The scientists checked his health, prepared suitable food for him, and patiently taught him about Earth. After a few days, Little Black walked out of the laboratory, and his real Earth adventure began.
He saw tall trees, colorful flowers, heard birds singing, and tasted sweet wild fruit. Earth was truly beautiful!
But before long, an Earth bear ran out of the forest and growled angrily, “This is my territory! Get out!”
Little Black was frightened and quickly ran away. Later, he met many unfamiliar animals. Some watched him warily, some shouted at him, and others treated him like an intruder.
Little Black finally understood: although Earth was beautiful, it did not necessarily welcome him everywhere. Coming to a new place, dreams alone were not enough. He also needed to understand the environment, follow the rules, and learn how to get along with the local inhabitants.
So Little Black decided to go home.
The scientists took him back to the rocket base. When the rocket landed safely on Mars again, Little Black saw his family and friends waiting in the distance. He ran toward them, his heart filled with warmth and relief.

This adventure taught Little Black an important lesson:
“It is brave to follow your dreams, but you should prepare carefully before you leave. When you arrive somewhere new, you must not only adapt to the environment, but also respect and understand the people who live there.”
After that, Little Black still loved looking at the stars. But he never acted secretly again. Instead, he studied Earth carefully and shared his adventure stories with everyone.
